About The Position

National Star Services, a 27-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking General Laborers for its Bloomfield, CT location. This is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate. Schedules are available for Friday-Sunday (Weekends) with two shift options: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 36 hours) and 2nd shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 36 hours). The starting pay rate is $16.94 per hour with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Two valid, updated forms of ID.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Background check and drug test will be conducted.
• Must be ready to start working as soon as possible.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise from trucks.
• Secure and wrap packages using protective plastic to prepare for safe loading and transport.
• Manually handle and move materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Accurately scan packages and sort them into designated staging or loading areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by removing trash, excess plastic wrap, and empty boxes.
