Requirements

  • Compassionate and genuinely committed to caring for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
  • Patient, respectful, and gentle during all care tasks.
  • Attentive to detail and responsive to client needs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and maintain professionalism.
  • Flexible and adaptable to different home environments and client personalities.
  • Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
  • Current TB test result or chest X-ray (per state regulations)
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S (valid ID, Social Security card, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and active car insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior caregiving experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Provide companionship, social engagement, and emotional support.
  • Support meal preparation, feeding (as needed), and ensure proper hydration.
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and occasional linen changes.
  • Assist with errands, grocery shopping, or transportation if required.
  • Follow the client’s individualized care plan and report any changes to the care team promptly.
  • Ensure the client’s comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
