About The Position
National Star Services, a 27-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking General Laborers for its Bloomfield, CT location. This is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate. Schedules are available for Friday-Sunday, with both first shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and second shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) options, each offering 36 hours per week. The starting pay rate is $16.94 per hour, with weekly pay.
Requirements
- Two valid, updated forms of ID.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
- Background check and drug test will be conducted.
- Must be ready to start working as soon as possible.
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks.
- Secure and wrap packages using protective plastic to prepare for safe loading and transport.
- Manually handle and move materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Accurately scan packages and sort them into designated staging or loading areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by removing trash, excess plastic wrap, and empty boxes.
