About The Position

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Worker in Concord, North Carolina. The role involves unloading and inspecting incoming products, pulling, staging, and loading products for customers, making deliveries in a 26-foot box truck as needed, and assisting with inventory and damage control. It is physically demanding, requires frequent heavy lifting, and takes place in a non-climate-controlled environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime. The pay rate is $22–$24, based in part on skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. Additional compensation may include driving bonuses and target bonuses.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Be able to perform heavy, repetitive lifting of 50–75 pounds and remain in constant movement.
• Pass all DOT requirements, including a physical and background screening, and have a motor vehicle record that meets Amarr driver standards.
• Be able to read and speak English in accordance with DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrate a history of steady employment.
• Be comfortable working in a physically demanding role with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming products, mostly by hand, with loads weighing approximately 50–75 pounds.
• Pull, stage, and load products for customers while providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26-foot box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.
