About The Position

Steiner Electric is seeking a positive, ambitious, and outgoing Warehouse Worker Receiving to support its warehouse team. The primary responsibility is to check and unload incoming shipments, verify item quantities and types, inspect goods for quality, receive orders into the company system, and store or stock items in their appropriate locations. The role also involves completing other warehouse tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with Steiner, customer, and vendor personnel at all levels of the company.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Math skills.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments from incoming trucks.
• Inspect goods for accuracy and quality.
• Use an RF handheld device and Steiner's business system to receive goods.
• Safely store goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned by the manager.
