About The Position

NorthEast Electrical is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate in Providence, Rhode Island. The role supports warehouse and receiving operations, including handling, inspecting, recording, packaging, and routing materials for shipment or storage. The associate maintains inventory, completes documentation and data entry, performs housekeeping and maintenance duties, and learns the Eclipse software support system. The position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds using manual methods and powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks, moving materials safely with a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input according to established procedures.
Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock checks.
Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Maintain current knowledge of NorthEast policies and procedures and general product knowledge; participate in training and attend meetings as requested.
Act in a helpful and cooperative manner toward customers and coworkers.
Acquire a working knowledge of the Eclipse software support system.
