About The Position

The Warehouse Unloader works on a team of 3–5 people to unload trailers of food products and break down products to meet warehouse specifications. This fast-paced role involves receiving and moving merchandise, following safety and receiving procedures, and helping prevent truck or product backlogs. The position is full-time, first shift, with weekly pay. Pay is listed as $17.00 per hour plus incentive, with top performers earning $25.00 per hour plus incentive. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team-oriented outlook and a passion for helping others.
• Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact communities.
• Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma; listed fields of study are General Studies.

Responsibilities

• Receive products, record code dates, and break down pallets according to receiving procedures.
• Use forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and/or clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Move pallets from the dock to the correct aisles.
• Work at a fast pace to prevent backlogs of trucks or product.
• Inspect equipment and complete the appropriate forms.
• Safely handle occasional lifting of cases of varying weight, shape, and height.
