About The Position
TP Logistics is looking for a Warehouse/Truck Loader for it's facility in Thomson, GA. This position is responsible for tracking and maintaining inventory in TP Trucking & Logistics warehouse. Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading trucks & rail cars. The individual records and tracks items loaded and unloaded into the warehouse. Works collaboratively with the facility team and drivers to ensure that all processes are conducted safely and in an efficient manner.

- Uses loaders, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Ensures efficient utilization of warehouse space.
- Ensures trucks are loaded accurately according to instructions.
- Rotates product on trucks and in warehouse.
- Accurately records items that are loaded and unloaded.
- Keeps track of inventory utilizing the company’s IT systems.
- Follows all safety procedures to prevent injuries while performing heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment.
- Performs general cleaning as needed.
- Completes work with accuracy and efficiency.
- Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior.
Responsibilities
- Uses loaders, forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks, rail cars, & intermodal containers.
- Ensures efficient utilization of warehouse space.
- Ensures trucks are loaded accurately according to instructions from the customer, office personnel, or sales staff.
- Rotates product on trucks and in warehouse in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Accurately records items that are loaded and unloaded.
- Keeps track of inventory utilizing the company’s IT systems.
- Follows all safety procedures to prevent injuries while performing heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment.
- Performs general cleaning as needed, such as sweeping floors and making sure all items are properly stored.
- Completes work with accuracy and efficiency.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
- Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
