About The Position

Top Metal Solutions LLC is a company specialized in high-quality metal fabrication, including racks, structural components, CNC cutting, welding, and industrial painting processes. Located in Adkins, Texas, we are a growing company focused on safety, organization, efficiency, and teamwork. We are seeking a bilingual Warehouse & Tool Room Associate who is organized, dependable, and motivated to support daily warehouse and tool control operations in a metal manufacturing environment. This is primarily a hands-on operational role focused on material handling, forklift operation, inventory organization, material staging, and basic control of tools, consumables, and production equipment. The selected candidate will work directly under the supervision of the Warehouse Coordinator and will be responsible for keeping warehouse and tool room areas organized, safe, and operating efficiently to support manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • English and Spanish required.
  • Strong organization skills, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and operate forklifts for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in environments with heat, dust, noise, and industrial conditions.
  • Consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred (company may train the right candidate).
  • Basic computer and inventory knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, stage, label, and store materials, tools, consumables, and production supplies.
  • Safely operate forklifts (LP gas and diesel) to move and organize materials throughout the facility.
  • Maintain materials properly organized and identified by work order, project, or department.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical material verification.
  • Help track and control shared tools, welding fixtures, power tools, PPE, and consumables.
  • Record basic tool check-in/check-out activity and report damaged, missing, or unsafe tools.
  • Maintain warehouse and tool room areas clean, organized, and properly labeled using 5S and visual management practices.
  • Prepare and issue materials, tools, and consumables required for production, welding, assembly, cutting, painting, and shipping.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and material preparation.
  • Monitor basic inventory levels and report shortages or restocking needs to the Warehouse Coordinator.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or unsafe conditions and report them promptly.
  • Use inventory sheets, tracking systems, Excel, or basic logs to monitor materials and tools.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards, internal company policies, and required PPE usage at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to organization, safety, and operational efficiency.
