About The Position

TRAC Tire Services is hiring Warehouse Technicians at its Florence, Kentucky facility. The role supports the commercial tire retread process, which takes place across multiple stations. Employees receive cross-training for each area and are responsible for maintaining quality control throughout the process. The position is on a set first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Pay is up to $21.75 per hour.

The work takes place in a non-climate-controlled facility, which can be hot in summer and cold in winter. The role involves frequent bending, twisting, lifting objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds or more, pushing tires with 100 pounds or more of pressure, standing, and performing repetitive motions and work in awkward postures. Employees must follow proper procedures and use appropriate PPE when handling hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
• Be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility with hot summer and cold winter conditions.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, and lift objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds or more.
• Be able to push tires using 100 pounds or more of pressure.
• Be able to stand and perform repetitive and sustained motions, work in awkward postures, and tolerate mechanical stress concentrations and vibrations.
• Be able to work as part of a team and move among positions as needed.

• Knowledge and understanding of commercial tires.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock the work station and ensure equipment is functioning properly before and after shifts.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily standard metrics for each position, such as tires inspected and tubes pulled.
• Work collaboratively in a team and take on multiple positions as needed to meet daily goals.
• Maintain and update logs and tracking spreadsheets using paper, Excel, or company software.
• Arrive at work on time and consistently to help maintain shift productivity.
• Identify hazardous materials and use the proper PPE and procedures when handling them.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
