About The Position

The Tech I - Warehouse supports warehouse operations at a project site in Georgia. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the role helps the team meet production quality and delivery goals through effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, sound judgment, production efficiency, and commitment to product quality while working safely and cost-effectively. The Warehouse Assistant handles shipping and receiving, distribution, organization, and safe handling of products, and participates in inventory and clerical work as needed. The employee also assists the Warehouse Supervisor with tasks as needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of forklift experience.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 12 kg and frequently lift and/or move up to 23 kg.
Ability to regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

1 year of shipping and receiving experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Receive and unload freight manually or using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Check for damaged goods and verify order quantity and quality against purchase orders.
Wrap, package, and ship supplies; deliver and retrieve supplies to and from work or storage areas; tag and issue supplies; stock shelves; and rotate inventory.
Safely load and unload trucks and deliveries and efficiently transport products.
Participate in physical warehouse or supply-yard inventories, cycle counts, and other warehouse projects.
Use a personal computer to access, enter, and correct information when needed.
Inspect external packaging, record damaged goods through internal quality inspections, and label and sort products.
Coordinate disposal of surplus property and manage records retention when needed.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with tasks as needed and perform other duties as required.
