About The Position

Champion Petfoods is hiring a Warehouse Technician for the third shift at its pet food production facility in Auburn, Kentucky. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of finished product within the warehouse. The technician reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and works in a clean, modern manufacturing facility with new equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of forklift experience and/or equivalent warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Receive packaged product and finished goods from Production and ensure they meet established quality assurance standards.
Stock product efficiently, orderly, and on time.
Safely operate sit-down and stand-up fork trucks, turret trucks, and rider electric pallet jacks according to company policies and practices.
Load and unload trucks to and from vendors and distributors.
Perform order picking and refill processes to support outbound operations.
Use handheld scanners and enter accurate information about packaged product into the Warehouse Management System.
Ensure pallet license plates accurately display product information.
Develop awareness and understanding of quality assurance standards.
Support and represent Champion Petfoods at community-sponsored events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
