About The Position

Operation of a variety of machines ranging from a six-ton or ten-ton overhead crane to a finning machine. Responsibilities range from loading/unloading materials onto/off of machines and semi-trailers; bending or finning tubing; and ensuring quality of tubes being shipped out.

Requirements

• Constant lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, climbing, and reaching outward and overhead
• Ability to maintain one's balance
• Frequent unassisted lifting of objects weighing from 5 to 50 pounds
• Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
• Ability to deal with stress

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading materials onto/off of machines and semi-trailers
• Bending or finning tubing
• Ensuring quality of tubes being shipped out
• Operating a variety of machines ranging from a six-ton or ten-ton overhead crane to a finning machine
• Operating banding equipment to bundle tubes
• Wrapping and securing metal banding around the bundle of tubes
• Using a tensioner to tighten the metal bands around the tubes
• Using a crimper to secure the banding around the tubes with a clip
• Placing multiple metal bands on each bundle of tubing as determined by weight and size of tubing that is being shipped
