About The Position

The Brewery Warehouse/Logistics Team Member is responsible for supporting the efficient movement, storage, organization, and distribution of brewery products and supplies. This position plays an important role in keeping brewery operations running smoothly by receiving deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, preparing orders, loading and unloading products, and ensuring that beer and other materials are stored and handled properly.

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively with all parts of the brewery team
  • Effective communication with coworkers and leadership, asking questions if directions are unclear.
  • Ability to be trained and pass the Fork Lift Certification course.
  • Follows all safety procedures, proper lifting and safe operation of all warehouse equipment
  • Works effectively with the brewery, packaging and logistics teams. Understands that warehouse performance impacts the overall functionality of the entire brewery team
  • Strict adherence to alcohol laws in regards to delivery times, signatures and age verification where applicable
  • Keeps workspaces clean, organized and efficient. Maintains product locations and storage standards that improve warehouse flow.
  • Ability to handle impromptu situations, such as short shipment timelines, damaged product or customer dispute on product delivery
  • Frequent standing, walking, and climbing in and out of the truck and across loading docks, warehouse floors, and customer delivery areas.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of product (including kegs and cases); ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with heavier items moved using team lifts and/or material-handling equipment.
  • Repetitive movement including bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, gripping, and twisting while loading/unloading, securing product, and completing deliveries.
  • Manual dexterity and grip strength required to handle kegs, cases, hand trucks/dollies, pallet jacks, straps, and door mechanisms.
  • Stair and ramp navigation while moving product using a hand truck or dolly in varied environments (tight spaces, uneven surfaces, curbs).
  • Sustained physical activity for extended periods, including working at a fast pace during peak delivery windows.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and (if trained) forklifts; requires coordination, balance, and situational awareness.
  • Tolerance for environmental conditions such as temperature changes, outdoor weather exposure during deliveries, and moderate to loud noise in brewery/warehouse areas.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of experience working in the brewery industry is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to drive a forklift. Experience isn’t required, we will train.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and properly store incoming beer, packaging, supplies and other materials as needed
  • Organize warehouse and storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility
  • Maintain clean, orderly and safe warehouse cooler, loading dock and/or storage area
  • Assist with regular inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to Logistics Manager
  • Properly handle and store kegs, cases, pallets, merchandise and other brewery products.
  • Assist brewery, packaging, taproom, events, and operations teams with product and supply needs.
  • Move raw materials, packaging materials, kegs, cases, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.
  • Support keg washing, keg movement, and preparation of empty and full kegs as needed.
  • Help maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned.
  • Follow all brewery, warehouse, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
  • Use proper lifting, carrying, stacking, and material-handling techniques.
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment safely when trained and authorized.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in warehouse and loading areas.
  • Immediately report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, spills, injuries, or product damage.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling kegs, pallets, chemicals, equipment, and other workplace materials.
