About The Position

This role involves performing all job functions safely in a busy, high-traffic warehouse environment. The team member will be responsible for various tasks including operating a forklift (if qualified), handling products, maintaining the cleanliness of the workspace, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The position requires physical stamina for lifting, pushing, and pulling, as well as working in diverse environmental conditions and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Must be qualified to possess forklift operator’s license.
• Must regularly lift, push or pull up to +50 lbs.
• Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hearing protection, safety glasses, safety toed shoes, cut resistant gloves, bump cap or hard hat, hair net, and beard net (if applicable).
• Lifting Minimum: 20 lbs constantly, Maximum: 100 lbs occasionally.
• Repetitive Motion: Frequently manipulating controls on forklift. Constant entering and exiting forklift.
• Dexterity: Frequent manipulating controls on forklift. Frequent completion of paperwork.
• Standing/Sitting: Constant sitting. Frequent standing. Occasional bending.
• Walking: Frequent.
• Pushing: Frequent to close overhead dock and trailer door and to operate cleaning equipment.
• Pulling: Constant pulling overhead to get on and off forklift, Frequent pulling overhead to close trailer and dock doors. Frequent pulling to raise dock plates.
• Vibration: Constant vibration from forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform all job functions safely.
• Operate forklift (if qualified).
• Be aware of surroundings in busy, high-traffic areas.
• Lift, push, or pull up to +50 lbs.
• Work in and around machinery, moving vehicles, and pedestrians.
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Mop and sweep floors.
• Use stretch wrap to cover pallets.
• Pick up fallen cases of product (10lbs to 40 lbs).
• Restack pallets.
• Set manual dock plates.
• Perform overhead pulling to get on and off lift.
• Operate manual dock and trailer doors.
• Lift, move, and adjust pallets.
• Move and dump garbage and recycle bins.
• Occasionally move inbound receipt boxes.
