About The Position

The Warehouse Team Member efficiently processes electronic goods and uses available resources to assess their resale value. The role handles retired IT assets received from large businesses, researches products, sorts and prepares goods for resale, dismantling, or recycling, and supports warehouse safety and upkeep. The position may also provide assistance to the logistics team with client pickups and deliveries. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. The position is located in Phoenix, Arizona, reports to the Warehouse Manager, and pays $20–$21 per hour.

Requirements

Computer savvy and comfortable with basic spreadsheets or Google Sheets.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Ability to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal record.
Must perform duties free from impairment, may be subject to more frequent or periodic drug testing, and must consistently demonstrate readiness and ability to work safely.
Must be willing to assist the logistics team with pickups as required by business needs.
Ability to stand in one place for extended periods without fatigue.
Ability to make precise finger movements to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move or carry heavy objects weighing 70 pounds or more.
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Ability to correctly wear safety equipment and maintain a strict commitment to workplace safety.
Comfort working in a physically demanding environment with fluctuating temperatures, moderate noise, and a fast-paced, busy atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Receive retired IT assets delivered on pallets or in gaylords.
Weigh products and enter data into the computer system.
Research electronic products using multiple resources, including the internet, and assess their resale value.
Perform basic electronic testing when required, using provided standard testing equipment.
Prepare and sort electronic goods with no resale value for de-manufacturing.
Identify and remove hazardous substances.
Dismantle electronic goods when their value is in parts or components.
Sort non-valuable materials into appropriate containers for recycling.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, and balers.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization by sweeping, picking up debris, and reorganizing materials.
Inspect heavy machinery and perform routine maintenance on applicable equipment.
Work in any department as needed.
Occasionally assist logistics team members with client pickups and deliveries.
Perform duties in accordance with company policy and safety policies and guidelines.
