About The Position

The Warehouse Team Member facilitates warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, rotation, and storage of finished goods, product ingredients, and product components. The role requires knowledge of production, shipping, and receiving orders. The position is scheduled for the 3rd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Starting pay is $19 per hour, plus a $3 shift differential.

Silver Spring Foods is a fourth-generation, family-owned business based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It grows and processes horseradish and produces mustards, sauces, and horseradish products for grocery stores, restaurants, and food service companies. It also operates a manufacturing facility and provides co-packing services. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience and general knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of proper rotation techniques for perishable food items.
• Ability to operate a forklift or other equipment needed for shipping and storage duties.
• Ability to accurately count inventory items.
• Ability to recognize safe working habits.
• Ability to work effectively with others in the organization.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and use good judgment to prioritize work and information flow while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Positive attitude and consideration toward fellow employees; ability to cooperate and communicate well with coworkers.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of previous warehouse experience.
• Previous forklift certification.
• Bar-coding experience.
• Good computer experience.
