The Warehouse Team Leader ensures the Vision, Mission, and Values of the company are the guiding principles of daily business practices. This role works with supervisors and other leaders to provide strategic direction to the Warehouse Associate team, and trains, coaches, and provides leadership to Warehouse Associates on all assigned functions. The Team Leader provides operational assistance to the team during high volume periods or to augment for manpower shortages, and ensures all training documentation of the team is completed and submitted in a timely manner. They are responsible for ensuring a safe work environment by correcting and or mediating any observed safety procedure violation or unsafe work environment issue. Additionally, the Team Leader ensures all equipment utilized by the team is in good and safe working order and reports any maintenance requirements to the Warehouse Manager. This role also involves ensuring the accurate counting and recording of inbound product, accurately utilizing assigned system locations to locate and record product, and researching inventory discrepancies while performing routine cycle counts, moves, and returns. The Team Leader adheres to all safety policies and guidelines and complies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements. Travel to customer or other company facilities may be needed.
