About The Position

This is an OVERNIGHT position with hours of 8pm-4:30am, Sunday through Thursday with occasional overtime at the end of the month. As a CONMED Overnight Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for the processing of all incoming shipments. You will ensure shipments are accurately processed, inspected, and stored while maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing efficiency. You will resolve any discrepancies and collaborate with Buyers and Transportation. You will assist in the Domestic and International shipping departments as needed.

Requirements

• 4-7 years in a warehouse environment.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to perform routine calculations.
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners

Nice To Haves

• Experience working within WMS systems preferred.
• Previous experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to supervisor as it relates to company objectives, training, evaluating performance, and communication.
• Responsible for ensuring shipments are accurately uploaded into the WMS using an RF Scanner.
• Assist in the successful shipping and receiving of items in a cross-functional environment.
• Examining goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Checking received items against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy in quantity and description.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. Including tracking key metrics related to efficiency.
