About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead oversees a wide variety of warehouse activities. Organizes warehouse and schedules production work to ensure revenue goals are attained. Maintains a safe and productive work environment while processing donated goods, salvage materials, store inventory and trash.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience, preferably in waste, warehouse, and logistics.
  • Experience with material handling equipment required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages.
  • Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • As directed by the Warehouse Manager assigns tasks to achieve required daily warehouse productivity.
  • Measures and reports the effectiveness of the department activities.
  • Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Develops and maintains departmental work instructions for all tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Monitors loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Manages trash flow daily.
  • Prepare reports and employee documentation when required
  • Manage equipment flow.
  • Provide good customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
