About The Position

Imperial Beverage is seeking a motivated and energetic 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Lead for Picking to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This full-time position involves working Monday-Thursday afternoons from 3:00 pm until all orders for the next day have been picked and delivery trucks are fully loaded. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can handle hard work, maintain a positive attitude, and work effectively with a team. This role offers a great workout, the opportunity for overtime, and the chance to work with a fantastic warehouse team. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• Leadership skills
• Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet goals with accuracy
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Arrive to the warehouse on time and ready to work
• Collect pallet jack, scanner and iPod
• Pick cases of beverages assigned through an iPod
• Use a pallet jack to move product and organize cases on a skid
• Wrap skids to secure cases for shipping
• Print skid tags and place skids in the loading zone
• Repeat the picking process multiple times
• Provide direction and support to teammates
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor as needed
• Organize product returns and empty kegs based on truck routes
• Determine which trucks should be loaded with which product
• Assist in moving delivery trucks into truck bays for loading
• Load wrapped skids on trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
