About The Position

Imperial Beverage is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Recycling Team Lead to join their fast-paced team in Kalamazoo, MI. This role involves organizing and recycling product returned to the warehouse, checking in delivery trucks, and leading teammates. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who enjoys physical work, has leadership skills, and works well in a team environment. This is a full-time position working Tuesday-Friday, 1pm-10pm, offering a great workout and opportunities to learn new roles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• Leadership skills
• Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines with accuracy
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize and recycle product returned to the warehouse.
• Check in delivery trucks daily.
• Prepare pallets for returned product.
• Check each delivery truck for returned product and recyclables.
• Crush glass, compact cardboard, and load other recyclable products on trailers.
• Organize empty kegs to be returned to suppliers.
• Repack and stock returned product.
• Replenish inventory.
• Clean the docking area and wash delivery trucks.
• Provide direction and support to teammates.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
