About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor leads and optimizes warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods. The role oversees inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics activities while promoting operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. The supervisor provides strategic and hands-on leadership to support customer service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency, as well as business objectives through warehouse management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role leading teams of 15 or more.
• Strong understanding of material logistics processes, inventory accuracy and systems, and production or order requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience and skills may be substituted for education.
• Experience with ERP and WMS systems; SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or DMAIC.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, and operational standardization.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material flow to meet business and customer requirements.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues, optimize warehouse layouts, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards, and foster a strong workplace safety culture.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operational execution.
• Analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
