About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor – Shipping oversees daily shipping operations and warehouse employees assigned to shipping functions. The role ensures accurate and timely order fulfillment, efficient outbound scheduling, productivity, and safety and compliance. It also handles operational tasks such as shift openings and closings and payroll reporting, while maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and outbound logistics best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Forklift and OSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping operations, including order selection, scanning, and loading.
• Ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment for customer deliveries.
• Analyze shipment logs and timelines to improve efficiency in outbound scheduling.
• Optimize employee workflow and recommend productivity improvements.
• Track and monitor KPIs, including order accuracy, shipping timeliness, and outbound dock utilization.
• Train, guide, and evaluate warehouse employees assigned to shipping functions.
• Ensure safety and compliance in outbound operations.
• Perform operational responsibilities, including shift openings and closings and payroll reporting.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
