About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, focusing on inventory control, continuous improvement, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and the ability to drive operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. This position requires a blend of day-to-day operational execution and long-term process improvement, with a focus on financial impact and leadership development.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in inventory control, including cycle counting, slotting, replenishment, and multi-site inventory management.
  • Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable results in areas such as inventory accuracy, cost reduction, and service levels.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Solid project management experience, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and drive execution to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms (BPCS preferred), with a focus on process and system improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching, accountability, and driving performance across teams.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day operational execution with longer-term process improvement and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, progress, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and driving adoption of new processes and standards.
  • Understanding of the financial impact of operational decisions, including inventory accuracy, freight cost, and process efficiency.
  • Demonstrated potential to grow into broader operational leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics operations required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
