About The Position

Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label charcoal, manufactured fire logs, fire building products, matches and toothpicks. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the shipping team in efficiency, stocking and storage strategy, inventory management, and related strategic warehousing efforts. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating some operational activities within the shipping unit and will work closely with unit’s supervisor on some performance management efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping team in execution of daily operations, including improving efficiency of tasks and management of warehouse resources; Analyze appropriate data to help with best use of all resources.
• Coordinate daily activities of forklift operators.
• Utilize team and resources to manage loading / unloading of trucks.
• Check-in drivers and verify correct load numbers. Print bills of lading.
• Ensure team is adhering to organizational safety protocols; perform safety meetings daily.
• Assist in the training of new hires.
• Periodically report to supervisor on team and individual work accomplishments, progress, and problems.
• Assist with physical inventory of raw material or finished goods; Ensure accuracy/ adherence to inventory process.
• Carry out other duties to support daily operations as needed.
