As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Foster a team atmosphere, provide vision, and demonstrate support of the company’s core processes.

Requirements

Five plus (5+) years of experience in a supervisor or leadership role within a distribution or manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills
Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping/receiving, and inventory control
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop benchmarks and KPIs
Proven leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example and train others
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. — sponsorship is not available for this role

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bilingual Spanish
Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
Knowledge of ISO QMS

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are consistently met
Lead, motivate, and develop inbound and kitting of colleagues through coaching, training, and performance management
Manage storage selection, replenishment, and unloading activities across all product lines
Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with safety policies and procedures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce turnaround time and streamline workflows
Monitor and control labor and supply costs to meet budget targets
Ensure proper and safe use of all warehouse equipment, including powered industrial trucks
Review documentation for accuracy and oversee inbound and storage logistics processes
Analyze WMS data to assess productivity and guide team performance against KPIs
Lead monthly reporting and execution of key performance indicators (KPIs), including delivery metrics, inventory accuracy, safety, and people
Support special projects and initiatives assigned by site leadership
Ensure accurate time and attendance management, and payroll related policies within Kronos
