As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Foster a team atmosphere, provide vision, and demonstrate support of the company’s core processes.

Requirements

  • Five plus (5+) years of experience in a supervisor or leadership role within a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping/receiving, and inventory control
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop benchmarks and KPIs
  • Proven leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example and train others
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. — sponsorship is not available for this role

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
  • Knowledge of ISO QMS

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are consistently met
  • Lead, motivate, and develop inbound and kitting of colleagues through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Manage storage selection, replenishment, and unloading activities across all product lines
  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce turnaround time and streamline workflows
  • Monitor and control labor and supply costs to meet budget targets
  • Ensure proper and safe use of all warehouse equipment, including powered industrial trucks
  • Review documentation for accuracy and oversee inbound and storage logistics processes
  • Analyze WMS data to assess productivity and guide team performance against KPIs
  • Lead monthly reporting and execution of key performance indicators (KPIs), including delivery metrics, inventory accuracy, safety, and people
  • Support special projects and initiatives assigned by site leadership
  • Ensure accurate time and attendance management, and payroll related policies within Kronos
