About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor, in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, ensures the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will ensure that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. You will staff, schedule, train, evaluate, and develop warehouse team members. You will oversee warehouse productivity by ensuring that customer schedules are met and operational efficiency is maximized. You will allocate necessary space for stock rotation, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and implement product loss controls. Other project or duties as assigned.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree with 3 to 5 plus years of warehouse experience and 0 to 1 plus years of people leadership experience OR High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 5 plus years of warehouse experience and 2 to 3 plus years of people leadership experience

Responsibilities

Conduct daily shift meetings, communicating appropriate safety and operational messages, taking suggestions and answering questions
Assign daily work duties to warehouse workers ensuring safety, service and productivity and reliability requirements are met
Manage work flows efficiently
Maintain statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment
