About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of receiving, product selection, and loading, while maintaining productivity levels for hourly team members. The supervisor models and demonstrates the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The role also involves planning staffing and production, coordinating with other areas, overseeing associate records and development, and monitoring labor productivity and order accuracy.

Requirements

At least two years of leadership experience.
Highly motivated and energetic, with a strong sense of urgency in addressing issues.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to report on challenges and recommend solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with computer software, especially MS Word and Excel.
High school education or greater.

Nice To Haves

Two to five years of supervisory experience.
A degree; high school education or greater is stated as the educational qualification.

Responsibilities

Communicate with fellow supervisors and the Manager about daily operational activities.
Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
Plan production and staffing needs on a daily, weekly, and period basis.
Work with all other areas to maximize productivity and performance.
Monitor and meet order accuracy requirements and expectations.
Conduct meetings with hourly associates.
Oversee personnel records for all associates.
Help develop and train hourly associates.
Generate distribution/service center productivity reports regarding labor standards; account for labor hours, adhere to budget requirements, and work toward objectives and divisional goals.
Supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback.
Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
