About The Position
The Warehouse Supervisor supervises, trains, and develops workgroups, holding them accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and builds working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The supervisor manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency; supports employee development through orientation, training, evaluations, and coaching; and promotes a positive, team-oriented environment focused on employee involvement, communication, cooperation, and continual improvement. The position is seasonal and requires availability for flexible shift hours, up to five days per week, in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to five days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
- Facilitate training for new and current employees.
- Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
- Implement employee personal development plans as required.
- Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
- Hold workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance.
