The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and constantly improving day-to-day floor operations to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and production efficiencies, through meeting required deadlines and maintaining a controlled and operational in-flow/out-flow of products to ensure customer satisfaction. This role provides leadership and supervision to distribution team members within a specific functional area and/or process, supporting process managers to ensure timely, accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and processes. The supervisor manages team members to ensure compliance with policies/procedures, process improvement, and drives team member initiatives to create and promote an engaged environment. They supervise daily operations, refine and improve processes to meet customer requirements, and manage scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training, and auditing activities. Emphasis is placed on a positive and engaging working environment, safety, and quality commitments, with a deep understanding of departmental processes and functions. The role involves identifying key variables influencing workflow, developing and implementing departmental changes, and establishing performance measurements and auditing processes. This position also involves supervising, training, and developing team members, providing timely feedback, and supporting hiring activities. The supervisor must be able to operate PIE for specific departments and assist in managing financial accounts for department personnel.
