About The Position

The Warehouse Inventory Supervisor is responsible for supervising the inventory team as well as managing inventory for both full goods and packaging materials. This is a full-time position on 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00pm - 5:30am. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma preferred (GED)
  • 2 years of experience in Warehouse or Inventory Environment
  • Experience in a strong leadership role, presenting to regional leadership teams, local leadership teams, and front-line employees preferred
  • Experience with inventory and financial cost management systems: SAP or similar system capability preferred
  • Experience working with MHE, (material handling equipment) understand warehouse capacity requirements, building, loading, and delivery principles, FIFO and logistic principals
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Understanding of Occupational Safety Regulations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the inventory team.
  • Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
  • Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
  • Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
  • Fulfill sox compliance requirements for inventory.
  • Manage incoming product from other buildings as well as managing stock that has lower shelf life.
