About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees warehouse operations and the responsibilities of the warehouse team at a designated facility. In collaboration with Operations leadership, the supervisor ensures company and customer standards for service, quality, safety, and productivity are met. This first-shift role includes supervising staff, managing warehouse procedures and inventory, planning production and resource allocation, tracking activities, and working with machinery and material-handling equipment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience.
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Strong conflict-management skills.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C at cold-storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C at dry-storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; the required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working in varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, provide performance feedback to, and assign duties to direct reports to support productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Manage procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, merchandise organization, and warehouse inventory.
Plan production schedules and allocate resources to complete job assignments; maintain time and production records.
Track activities and send reports to designated plant personnel.
Track warehouse sales, record control, and purchasing to help ensure product availability.
Work with machinery and material-handling equipment.
Resolve employee issues and maintain open communication across the organization.
Perform assigned projects as instructed.
