About The Position

First Quality is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor-Night Shift for our First Quality Tissue facility located in Lock Haven, PA. This position is responsible for directing activities within the areas of Finish Goods and Raw Materials in an efficient and safe manner to achieve desired quality and quantity of work. Assist with training and development of team members. Closely interacts with Production, Maintenance, and Quality Departments. Performs the following duties personally or through subordinate Team Members.

Requirements

  • Three to five years’ experience in a supervisory position preferred.
  • Five to ten years’ experience in Warehouse operations preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor degree or college-level courses in a business-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping the warehouse inventory current.
  • Works with department managers to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, customer service, production planning, quality assurance, and purchasing.
  • Supervises activities being conducted and stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity during all shifts.
  • Hires and releases warehouse personnel as required to maintain an efficient warehouse and shipping operation.
  • Responsible for employee relations, personnel training programs, discipline, and appraisals.
  • Maintains team member payroll and absenteeism reports.
  • Generates warehouse productivity reports, accounts for all labor hours and adheres to budget requirements while working toward goals and objectives.
  • Performs internal and external warehouse audits to ensure proper inventory controls are in place and regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Directs all Finish Goods inventories, Raw Materials inventories, salvage, and disposition of damaged or rework material.
  • Coordinates all truck driver flow, in and out of the facility.
  • Recommends equipment requirements, replacements, and preventative maintenance programs to management in order to upgrade and improve upon warehouse productivity and efficiency.
  • Suggests material handling and technology upgrades.
  • Responsible for security of the building and its contents.
  • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
  • Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
  • Follows necessary GMP, and ISO regulations.
