About The Position

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you lead by example, working alongside and supervising Forklift Operators and Material Handlers on the night shift. You play a key role in the efficient performance between the Warehouse and Operations.

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of six (6) months of leadership experience overseeing activities of others (Warehouse Environment preferred)
Minimum of one year of forklift experience
Ability to work night shift 6:45 pm to 7 am, on a rotating schedule for 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off
Great social and interpersonal skills to relate with and motivate people
Experience using computer programs, such as SAP
Excellent critical thinking & analytical skills
Ability to lift & move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

An associate’s degree in supply chain or business is preferred
Knowledge of 6S & continuous improvement desired

Responsibilities

Manage Forklift Operator / Material Handler daily activities, assuring the team is achieving safety, quality & productivity standards.
Coordinate & prioritize work assignments & training, guiding and developing Warehouse Associates.
Monitor warehouse operations, assuring product flow for daily requirements are met, forklift fleet is properly maintained, issues are resolved, and improvement opportunities are identified.
Work alongside the team, operating a forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas, as well as loading finished goods to ship to customers.
Effectively communicate with other warehouse supervisors and also with production leadership to ensure teams are working together to contribute to the overall success of the site.
