About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and team performance. This role provides direct supervision to warehouse staff, ensures compliance with safety and GMP standards, and drives operational efficiency and accuracy. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in executing business objectives, developing team members, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ year’s previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment with 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, or GMP)
  • Experience with warehouse management or ERP systems (e.g., QAD)
  • Lean or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience with barcode scanning and inventory systems
  • Proven ability to track and improve performance metrics
  • Experience training and developing employees in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations. Enforce safety policies and lead safety initiatives.
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, order fulfilment, and inventory management to ensure accuracy and on-time performance.
  • Direct and manage warehouse staff during assigned shifts, including scheduling, work assignments, and performance oversight.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to employees; support performance management and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, and company standards, including proper handling and storage of temperature-controlled products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and accuracy; oversee cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Track and report key performance metrics (e.g., productivity, accuracy, on-time shipping) and drive improvements.
  • Partner with supply chain team to coordinate shipments and resolve operational issues.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, including proper hazardous material handling and shipping procedures.
  • Ensure all employees are properly trained and certified on equipment, processes, and SOPs.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational and personnel issues during assigned shifts.
