About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor II is responsible for planning warehouse layouts, advising employees on storage and handling methods, determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow. This role involves assigning duties, examining work for accuracy, maintaining harmony among workers, resolving issues, and enforcing safety regulations. The position also requires other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.

  • Frequently required to climb or balance.
  • Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.
  • Must pass an E-Verify Check.

Nice To Haves

  • Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
  • Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues.
  • Advises and enforces safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
