Shift Supervisor - First Shift

TruCutSalem, OH
Onsite

About The Position

This is a hands-on production floor role focused on learning manufacturing processes and working directly with team members. The position requires a significant presence on the production floor, not an office-based role. The Shift Supervisor will lead shop floor operations, ensuring they are clean, organized, and running efficiently. This includes building and developing a team through training and support, driving results by monitoring performance metrics (efficiency, labor usage, gross margin), ensuring accuracy in job records, inventory transactions, and system updates, and coordinating daily priorities with the scheduling team. The role also involves championing quality and safety by verifying inspections, maintaining standards, and ensuring jobs meet expectations. Additionally, the supervisor will embrace the "Great Game of Business" to help the team understand their impact on success. Support will be provided by TruCut's Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering teams. The role requires close collaboration with Production Scheduling and active participation in Safety teams, providing leadership in safety and hazard recognition.
