About The Position

Carson is hiring a Warehouse Specialist for its Lubricant Department at its Eugene, Oregon location. The position supports warehousing and distribution operations, including filling containers, stocking products, receiving freight, preparing orders, and loading trucks. The role also involves operating a forklift, maintaining assigned processes and equipment, and working with other employees and departments to provide timely, accurate work and a high level of customer service. Work takes place in a warehouse and outdoors, with variable seasonal conditions and physical activity including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Communicate effectively.
Interact well with others.
Be certifiable to drive a forklift.
Meet specific vision requirements, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Be open to a varied work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, due to special events, inclement weather, and other warehousing and distribution projects.

Responsibilities

Fill 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums.
Stock products.
Load trucks.
Operate a forklift.
Receive freight.
Pick orders and build pallets.
Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the position.
Manage preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as directed.
Report to work as scheduled and complete assignments in a timely, accurate, thorough, and conscientious manner.
Maintain a team environment with employees and other departments.
Maintain a high level of customer service and a friendly atmosphere.
Perform other duties as assigned.
