About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist (described in the posting as a Laborer/Operator) performs tasks involved in producing the company’s products, including working with metal sheets, rods, coils, rounds, and beams. The role follows standard work methods and safe work practices to support efficient and safe production. It involves using floor-level and overhead heavy equipment and maintaining the warehouse and machines. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to perform physical tasks involving bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, standing, sitting, and repetitive or strenuous exertion.
• Visual acuity, proper lifting techniques, and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in difficult conditions, including extreme temperatures, inclement weather, heights, loud noise, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
• Ability to climb and work on ladders, railroad cars, and uneven surfaces.
• Manual dexterity for quick, accurate, coordinated handling and manipulation of objects.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involved in production of the company’s metal products.
• Follow standard work methods and safe work practices.
• Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, mills, saws, shears, forklifts, and CNC machines.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the warehouse and machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
