About The Position

UnityTec is seeking a Warehouse Specialist Supervisor to join their team. This role involves overseeing and directing comprehensive storage and distribution operations, dynamically managing personnel, equipment, and facilities to ensure efficient material handling. The supervisor will strategically plan workloads, adapt to daily operational fluctuations, and utilize Government Data Systems to guarantee all activities strictly comply with requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehousing using DLAs WMS or an equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years.
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
• Any related certifications
• A current Secret clearance is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversees end-to-end storage and distribution operations.
• Leads and directs employees engaged in the complete material lifecycle, including receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, and distributing commodities.
• Manages the safe and effective use of automated and manual material-moving equipment, devices, and systems for both bin and bulk materials.
• Plans the utilization of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on weekly or monthly projected workloads.
• Redirects workforce and resources on the fly to accommodate daily workload fluctuations and accomplish unanticipated tasks.
• Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences in accordance with the policies and schedules set by the Site Manager or Alternate Site Manager.
• Conducts proactive planning for current and future work schedules, generating workload data, staffing estimates, and scheduling recommendations.
• Ensures all work is executed properly, efficiently, and strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
• Operates Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other designated Government Data Systems to track, manage, and report on operational requirements.
