About The Position

As a Slot Cleaner, you will be acting as sanitation support for the Warehouse team and play a primary role in ensuring the warehouse is in compliance with any/all food safety handling requirements. This role involves maintaining warehouse cleanliness, including aisles and product slots, and handling spills. You will also be responsible for collecting and baling plastic wrap, and potentially cleaning offices and restrooms. The position requires adherence to food safety standards and safe work practices.

Frequently reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.)
Frequently handling, carrying, pushing, lifting and pulling up to 60 Lbs.
Continuously seeing, hearing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet
Must be able to stand or walk on concrete floors throughout your scheduled shift, with occasional overtime

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots
Clean spills including damaged product, oil, grease, broken glass, etc.
Pull product out of the slot with a pallet jack and clean slot with cleaning supplies and electric scrubber and replace product
Break areas and offices when necessary
Collect and bale plastic wrap throughout your shift
Clean warehouse offices and employee break areas: empty trash cans, clean windows, vacuum carpeted offices, collect paper and empty boxes
Clean and maintain warehouse restrooms through use of disinfecting products when necessary
Clean fire extinguishers
Ensure lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriate
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
