About The Position

As a Slot Cleaner, you will be acting as sanitation support for the Warehouse team and play a primary role in ensuring the warehouse is in compliance with any/all food safety handling requirements. This role involves maintaining warehouse cleanliness, including aisles and product slots, and handling spills. You may also be responsible for cleaning offices and restrooms, collecting and baling plastic wrap, and ensuring security measures like turning off lights and locking doors are followed. The position requires the ability to work in various temperature-controlled warehouse environments.

Requirements

Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations.
Ability to operate required materials handling equipment (MHE).
Must be able to use necessary cleaning supplies.
Excellent time management skills.
Must be able to stand or walk on concrete floors throughout your scheduled shift, with occasional overtime.
General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies or High School Diploma - General Studies.

Nice To Haves

Fall protection training and using proper fall protection equipment.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots.
Clean spills including damaged product, oil, grease, broken glass, etc.
Pull product out of the slot with a pallet jack and clean slot with cleaning supplies and electric scrubber and replace product.
Break areas and offices when necessary.
Collect and bale plastic wrap throughout your shift.
Clean warehouse offices and employee break areas: empty trash cans, clean windows, vacuum carpeted offices, collect paper and empty boxes.
Clean and maintain warehouse restrooms through use of disinfecting products when necessary.
Clean fire extinguishers.
Ensure lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriate.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
