The warehouse associates help with tasks around the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license (Commercial Drivers License Preferred)
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment (i.e. forklift)
  • Basic Welding and Mechanical ability
  • Good communication, listening, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
  • Dependable and Reliable
  • Inventory, data entry and computer skills required
  • Ability to bend and lift heavy objects (10-25lbs frequently up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safe Work practices

  • Commercial Drivers License Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Update shipping board as needed
  • Arrange for couriers and freight pick up according to customer preference including completion of all paperwork and checking back for BOLs by 3rd party logistics before driver arrivals
  • Pick and package orders as requested according to instructions
  • Assist with check-in of received items as requested
  • Daily double-checking of picked orders at the shipping counter
  • Daily packaging and processing of UPS/Speedy/FedEx parcels, including marketing/promotional materials and vendor returns
  • Re-stocking and re-ordering of supplies for shipping area
  • Daily emptying of garbage and cardboard. General clean up and sweeping daily
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary assemble orders and load or unload freight
  • Follow all safety regulations including wearing proper safety equipment
  • Custom fabrication for various customer needs
  • Deliver products to customer sites
  • Assist belt crew with logistic measures
  • Repair/Rebuild shops equipment
  • Regular and consistent attendance
