About The Position

Summary of Position: The shop mechanic position requires pressure washing and inspecting all equipment in their entirety in a timely and safe manner. This position would require an independent and detailed orientated person. The shop mechanic will take care of the day-to-day cleaning of all equipment and will be trained to take on the role of inspections of equipment.

Requirements

• Forklift experience
• Clean DMV record
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail orientated
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to perform physical labor

Responsibilities

• Inspecting machines after equipment has been cleaned
• Complete necessary repairs to pass inspection
• Pressure wash equipment for to return to the job
• Vacuum cabs, clean interior surfaces, and wash glass.
• Maintain the wash area by cleaning and organizing it routinely.
• Follow all safety procedures and use equipment properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
