NFM’s Shop Assistant is responsible for supporting team members in our repair shop and inventory control department. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• 6 months’ warehouse or labor experience
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect Repaired Furniture for quality control
• Wrap product and load on flats
• Repair: remove back panels and install mirrors
• Assist: Work with the inventory team to pick merchandise for delivery, cycle products in the repair shop and order supplies/product parts as needed
• Maintain: Organize lumber rack and keep the repair shop up to NFM housekeeping standards
• Safety: Keep all hazardous chemicals properly labeled and stored according to government standards
