About The Position

Regional International is looking for a Full Time Warehouse/Shipping Coordinator. This role involves unloading and checking in incoming orders, coordinating interbranch orders, managing shipping for outgoing items, picking orders, maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper paperwork processing, and operating motorized warehouse equipment. The position also requires completing required training and assisting with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months general work experience
• Valid New York State Driver License
• Must be willing to learn and be certified in operating motorized warehouse equipment
• Ability to use a personal computer, a general understanding of Microsoft Office software programs, and the ability to learn other database or proprietary software programs as needed
• Must have the ability to frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer
• Must be organized, self-motivated and have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have good judgment, problem solving skills, and adapt to change readily

Responsibilities

• Unload and check-in all incoming orders (vendor or interbranch), matching item to packing slip and bringing any order discrepancies to the attention of the Purchasing Manager
• Appropriately post items to KARMAK business system and bill any committed parts to customers or repair orders
• Coordinate all interbranch orders (both incoming and outgoing)
• Work with drivers to schedule special deliveries or pick-ups as needed
• Coordinate shipping for all outgoing items such as customer orders, parts and core returns, determining appropriate shipping methods for items based on item/package size and weight
• Pick orders as needed by the Retail and Internal Parts Specialists, labeling and billing orders appropriately
• Check and maintain stock levels and stock incoming items
• Ensure all paperwork is routed to the appropriate department for processing, follow-up or filing
• Safe operation of motorized warehouse equipment, using established guidelines
• Complete all required training within specified time frame
• Special projects or other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or other senior leadership
