About The Position

We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Shippers for a contract-to-hire position in Elkhart, Indiana. This role involves utilizing a WMS system and RF scanners to fulfill product shipment orders. Responsibilities include assembling and loading stacks for distribution into semi-trailers, loading and unloading trailers to maintain continuous floor movement, and providing support to packers as needed. The position offers 5-day work weeks with 2 rotating days off and requires availability for weekends, overtime, and holidays. The pay rate is up to $19/hr.

Requirements

Must be able to work 8-10-hour shifts
Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
Pass Drug Screen and Background Screening
Steel Toe Shoes/Boots
Ability to lift and or move up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift
Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop
Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel
Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
Computer skills
Basic Math skills
Experience in matching tickets to product
Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions

Responsibilities

Use computers running a WMS system and RF scanners to meet product shipment order fills.
Assemble and load stacks from stackers and the staging floor for proper distribution into semi-trailers.
Load and unload trailers to ensure constant floor movement.
Provide support and relieve packers as needed.
