About The Position
Alloy Fasteners' warehouse distribution facility in Goshen, Indiana is GROWING! We are looking to hire positive, reliable, hard-working team players to join our amazing team. This role involves processing orders in our Indiana distribution facility. Success on this team means valuing customer satisfaction and caring about your work and team, working with a high level of accuracy, achieving inventory accuracy and lot traceability, being comfortable with rewarding, hands-on, engrossing work, being on time and reliable every day, and staying flexible and adapting to a growing, fun workplace. Each area of our warehouse operates under ISO guidelines. The key measures of success for this position are Accuracy & Productivity, Teamwork, Reliability, and Safety.
Requirements
- Lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
- Standing on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Working in reasonably warm/cool environments (at times).
- No specific warehouse experience necessary, but a solid track record of focused and productive work is desired.
- Safety-toe boots or shoes are required.
- Must share company values - treating everyone with kindness and respect, taking ownership / responsibility, holding yourself accountable to your team, and steering and embracing innovation in an effort to meet customer satisfaction.
Nice To Haves
- Training and Experience with forklift driving, use of calipers, and computers is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Specializing in a specific warehouse function: Packing, Picking, or Shipping/Receiving.
- Operating equipment: Including digital scales, calipers, computers, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Providing Quality Control: Inspecting all products before and after packing, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged and processed according to ISO regulations.
- Ensuring timely Accuracy: Ensuring accurate inspections and quantities is the goal.
- Working as a Team: Knowing when to ask for help, and when to assist your teammates. Being present, on time, and eager to help your team build working relationships and create efficient workflow.
- Following all safety regulations.
- Operating under ISO guidelines.
- Maximizing consistent, high-quality results through repetitive actions.
