About The Position
This is a contract-to-hire position for Warehouse Packers in Elkhart, Indiana. The role involves packing bread, buns, and/or muffins in baskets for shipping, and inspecting all products to ensure they meet quality control standards. The pay rate is up to $17.50 per hour, with 5-day work weeks and 2 rotating days off. Availability for weekends, overtime, and holidays is required.
Requirements
- Must be able to work 8–10-hour shift
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
- Pass Drug Screen and Background Screening
- Steel Toe Shoes/Boots
- Ability to lift and or move up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Computer skills
- Basic Math skills
- Experience in matching tickets to product
- Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions
